ManiFiesta 2024 was all about a fiery atmosphere, talented musicians and artists, exciting speakers from all over the world, Belgium's biggest left-wing book fair, an international trade union village, a children's festival for our youngest revellers, the best food from around the world and sport and games for everyone. A new MundoFiesta square where we met many international guests from all over the world to share their struggles and enthusiasm. Thank you so much for making ManiFiesta 2024 unforgettable! We look forward to seeing you at the 2025 edition, on 13 and 14 September!

More than 32,000 people from the care, social welfare and socio-cultural sectors, from all over the country, took to the streets of Brussels to demand better pay, better working conditions and new colleagues.

Every day brings new infernal images from Gaza. Israel continues its genocide, extending its massacres to Lebanon and its murderous repression in the West Bank and Jerusalem. European and American leaders are complicit in these crimes, since no concrete action is being taken to put an end to them.

The Workers’ Party of Belgium (PVDA-PTB) is making progress in the three regions of Belgium: Flanders, Brussels, and Wallonia. In Flanders, despite the abolition of compulsory voting and an unprecedented smear campaign, we achieve 20% of the votes in Antwerp. This is a historic result in the largest city of Flanders.

For one weekend, ManiFiesta was once again the world as it should be.

Welcome to the 14th edition of ManiFiesta, the Solidarity Festival, on 7 and 8 September in Ostend (Belgium).

"Mutiny", that's the title of Peter Mertens' latest book. But it's also the title of a documentary, made by Fakto, a Marxist media created by the PVDA-PTB.

The PVDA-PTB is one of the big winners of the June 9, 2024 elections. It becomes the fourth party in the country, with 10% of the votes at the national level. That is an increase from 566,000 to 763,000 votes, and from 12 to 15 Members of the Parliament (out of 150).

The PVDA-PTB presents its electoral program and its priorities In the north, center and south of the country, the party is taking root. We're doubling our score in polls across Flanders compared to the 2019 election and our results exceed 15% in both Wallonia and Brussels.

On April 4th, the European meeting "Europe for the People" took place in Brussels, an initiative co-organized by the Workers' Party of Belgium (PVDA-PTB), the Party of the European Left (PEL), AKEL of Cyprus, and Levica of Slovenia.
