Welcome to ManiFiesta, Belgium's solidarity festival on 11 and 12 September
Presentation of part of the programme
Come and meet the Covid-19 heroes
Fighting for a pay rise in the care and cleaning sector; on strike for the safety of thousands of workers; fighting for trade union rights; making the voice of the working class heard in parliament ... Impossible? Absolutely not! Come and meet these working
class heroes at ManiFiesta.
Celebrating half a century of free medicine
2021 marks the 50th anniversary of Medicine for the People. As a co-organiser of ManiFiesta, the network of eleven health centres will be honoured during the solidarity festival. Since its creation, Medicine for the People has been fighting for the right to health in a healthy society. Come and celebrate these 50 years of existence with us.
ManiFiesta goes international
With the participation of many guests from all over the world: Édouard Louis (France), Vijay Prashad (India), Radhika Desai (Canada), Michael Roberts (UK), Mariam Dhawale (India), Omar Barghouti (Palestine), and from Cuba, Fernando Gonzales (president of ICAP), Dr. Dagmar García (Finlay Institute of Vaccines) and Annie Garcés (singer).
Something for everyone
Meet people from all walks of life, exchange ideas in the debates and workshops, browse through the book fair, go wild in the concerts and enjoy the stands. Diversity is celebrated through food, music and debates. No room for racism and sexism at ManiFiesta.
