‘Trop is te veel’. Enough is enough.
This is the message launched by the collective of the same name, which mobilised more than 1000 people on Sunday 4th December in the streets of Brussels for its first action.
The collective gathers trade unionists, citizens, students, artists, actors of the associative and cultural world, self-employed workers around this slogan which translates well what more and more people feel.
Faced with unpayable bills that make us tremble as much as the cold that is falling on the country, and faced with the injustice of seeing a handful of energy multinationals’ shareholders line their pockets while households suffer, they say stop. ✋
The ‘Trop is te veel’ collective is calling for a freeze on energy prices and rents, and for the richest to be made to pay in order to protect the purchasing power of households and the self-employed.
