In our newsletter of September 10th, we announced the coming publication of the latest book by PTB-PVDA chairman Peter Mertens, They have forgotten us. The working class, health care and the coming crisis. Today we have the pleasure of inviting you for the evening launch of the French translation of the book, published by Le temps des cerises.

 

On Friday October 9th, at 8:00 pm, you will have the unique opportunity to follow Peter Mertens' presentation of his new book via the social networks. You will also have a chance to hear some special guests: Laeticia Cariola, domestic worker and union representative in the service voucher sector; Maud Mulpas, hospital worker; Olivier Malay, researcher in economic sciences (UCL), specialist of ecological and social transition issues; and Raoul Hedebouw, spokesman for the PTB-PVDA. It will also be a musical evening with the participation of slammer Joy Slam and the Sangoma Flight group.

To order the book: Peter Mertens' new book is available in all good bookshops and can be ordered online at www.ptbshop.be. It is also available in Dutch, it is published in German by Verlag am Park, and will soon be published in Spanish by Atrapasueños.
